WOW! I checked out that blog you linked to. . . it was really good. So, you guys are reformed, too? :) Josh is a huge Piper reader, and he has heard him speak at a couple confrences (including "Together for the Gospel" where a bunch big evangelical preachers all joined together and agreed on being together for the gospel -- maybe you've heard of it).
I remember, Donette, the first time we ever really talked was when I asked you if your shirt was a DC Talk shirt (remember your Jesus Freak Shirt?), and then we sat and talked forever about versions of the Bible. Do you remember that? My new favorite version is the ESV. . . that's mostly all we use.
Talk to you later!
Gretchen, I will never forget some of the great conversations we had. It is awesome to see that our theology has progressed in the same direction. Yes, we are definately reformed in our sotierology (sp?), but not totally covenant in theology. Actually leaning toward new covenant.
We enjoy Piper and are familiar with T4G. I am getting to know more about CJ Mahaney and adding a few of his books on to my must read list, although with 2 kids reading anything is a major feat.
BTW, ESV is all we use, too! How ironic!
Hey! Great quiz! :) I'm a sucker for these things, too! Here are my results:
70% General American English
15% Upper Midwestern
10% Yankee
