Prayer Request Update

Things are looking better for my dad in TN. Nothing has grown on the culture they took, which looks good that it has not affected his heart. His arm is looking better, and after 3 days on antibiotics, he should be getting out tomorrow. Then they go on their way, continuing the vacation that was so rudely interrupted. He needs to check back with his cardiologist when they return home, but for now, things look good. Thanks, everyone, for praying.

Is this what life looks like when your parents get old?!?!?! ;-)

Good to hear about your dad! Bless his heart!

I know what you mean . . . it DOES start getting a little harder when your parents start getting older. Remember when that seemed a long way off>

Glad to hear your dad is doing better. :)

My dad was diagnosed with a blood disease in 1991, and it was sobering to realize how the child becomes the parent and the parent becomes the child. With many trips to the hospital and hundreds of blood transfusions, it was a difficult time for the whole family. By God's grace, my dad is still with us and in fairly good health. We pray for his salvation.

Isn't it hard to see your parents age? It brings new worries, but also, a different, more appreciative, relationship. I am so glad to hear that things are better. God is good.

I'm so glad things are better! I remember when all those heart issues arose back in college. We'll be praying!
